How to download from Quark Pan (夸克网盘) without a Chinese account
Someone shared a pan.quark.cn/s/… link — a game mod, an APK, a drama pack, a dataset. You open it and Quark wants its app and a mainland Chinese phone number. Here is what actually stands in the way, and every way through it, with speeds we measured rather than copied.

What a Quark Pan link looks like
Quark (夸克网盘) is Alibaba's consumer cloud, built into the Quark browser. Share links look like pan.quark.cn/s/…, sometimes with ?pwd=xxxx or a 4-character 提取码 written next to it. Inside China it opens in the Quark app in one tap. Outside China the same link mostly shows a download page that leads nowhere.
Why it is hard from outside China
- Registration needs a mainland phone number (+86). Foreign numbers are rejected.
- The web page keeps pushing you to install the app, and the app wants the same phone number.
- Even with an account, free downloads are throttled — Quark says 100–300 KB/s; we measured 60 KB/s. A 2 GB file is a whole afternoon.
- Folder shares report 0 bytes at the top level, so you cannot even tell how big the thing is before you commit.
Your options, honestly
1. Make a Quark account yourself
Possible if you can borrow a +86 number, and there are workarounds via a Taobao login. Then you are on the free tier at ~60 KB/s unless you also buy SVIP, which needs Alipay — and Alipay needs a passport to verify. Two evenings of setup for one file is rarely worth it.
2. Ask the uploader for another host
If they can re-upload to Google Drive or Mega, take it. Most cannot: Quark is where their audience is, and re-uploading 20 GB is a favour few people do.
3. Have it fetched for you
Full disclosure, this is us. BaiduFast has run Baidu Pan links this way for months, and Quark Pan runs on the same setup since September 2026 — fully automatic. The throttle is per account tier, not per connection — exactly like Baidu. SVIP with enough parallel connections is fast; a free account never is, no matter how many threads you open.
Questions people ask
Do I need a Quark account or password?
No. The public share link and its 4-character code are enough. Never give your own login to any service — a legitimate one does not need it.
The link has a password (提取码)
Include it. Either paste the link with ?pwd= at the end or add the code separately; both work.
Can you fetch a whole folder?
Yes. Folders arrive as one ZIP with the structure kept. Size is measured before anything is downloaded, so a big folder is not a surprise.
The link says it expired or was removed
Then it is gone for everyone, including any service. Ask the uploader for a fresh link.
Is Quark faster than Baidu Pan?
On our servers, with enough connections, Quark SVIP was actually faster (36 MB/s vs 19 MB/s for Baidu SVIP). Free tiers on both are unusable.
