Caimogu (菜鸟游戏) mods are on Baidu Pan or 123Pan — how to download them without a Chinese account

Caimogu (菜鸟游戏 — "caimogu" is a pun on rookie gamer) is one of the biggest Chinese game communities: mods, trainers, save files, Chinese-language patches and DLC unlockers for Steam titles, plus "circles" per game — Zenless Zone Zero, Monster Hunter Wilds, Genshin, Stellar Blade — where modders post their work.

The catch for anyone outside China: almost every download there is a Baidu Pan link (pan.baidu.com/s/…) or a 123Pan link, both of which want a Chinese phone number before they hand over the file. This post is the short, honest route around that.

What you are looking at on a Caimogu page

Under a mod you will usually see one of these:

• a Baidu Pan share address followed by 提取码 and four characters — the extraction code
• 123pan.com/s/… — a 123Pan share, sometimes also with a code
• Occasionally a direct attachment on Caimogu itself, which works normally

Baidu links are the majority. The code (提取码) is not a password for your account — it is a password on the share, and it is printed right there.

Why the link fails outside China

Click a Baidu Pan link from Europe or the Americas and you get a page that wants the Baidu app or a login. Registering needs a mainland +86 number; foreign numbers are rejected. If you manage to log in anyway, free accounts are throttled to roughly 50–70 KB/s — a 300 MB texture pack is over an hour, a 5 GB collection is a day.

123Pan is worse in one way: it recently stopped serving downloads to visitors who are not logged in at all, and there is no international sign-up.

Getting the file

1. Copy the whole link and the code. For Baidu that is the pan.baidu.com/s/… URL plus the 4 characters after 提取码. Some links already have ?pwd=xxxx on the end; that is the same code.

2. Paste it into BaiduFast. You see the real file name and size before anything happens. No Baidu account, no app, and we never ask for any login of yours.

3. Under 150 MB is free — three links a day, no code from us needed. That covers the large majority of character mods, outfit swaps, UI tweaks and trainers. Bigger packs are $0.79 for the first GB and $0.49 per extra GB, capped by size, shown before you pay.

4. Download the direct link with your browser or a download manager. Folders come as one ZIP with the structure intact, so a mod that ships as a folder installs the same way the author intended.

For 123Pan links: we do not fetch those automatically yet. Message us on Telegram with the link and we will do it by hand.

Before you install a mod from Caimogu

• Scan it. Trainers and DLC unlockers trip antivirus by design, but repacks from a forum are exactly where malware hides. VirusTotal the archive before running anything.
• Read the thread. Caimogu posts have comments; if a mod breaks saves or gets accounts banned in an online game, someone has already said so — in Chinese, but your browser will translate.
• Online games are a different risk. Mods for gacha titles with anti-cheat (Genshin, ZZZ, Wuthering Waves) have gotten accounts suspended. That is between you and the game's terms.

Questions people ask

The link says 链接不存在 or 已过期. The uploader removed it or it expired. Nobody can fetch it — not us, not any service. Ask in the thread for a re-upload. You can check any Baidu link for free first with our link checker.

I only want one file out of a 20 GB pack. Message us on Telegram with the link and the file name; we pull just that one.
